The terms governing access to and use of the Rivar platform and related services.
By accessing or using Rivar, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the platform.
Rivar provides software and related services designed to help organizations capture, structure, preserve, and retrieve institutional memory, decision records, and the reasoning behind them.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, controlling access to your workspace, and ensuring that information submitted to the platform is accurate and authorized for use.
Your organization retains ownership of all reasoning records, documents, metadata, and other information submitted to the platform. Rivar does not claim ownership over customer content.
You may not use the platform to violate applicable laws, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malicious software, gain unauthorized access to systems, or interfere with the operation of the service.
Rivar will treat customer information as confidential and will implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
The Rivar platform, software, interface designs, trademarks, documentation, and related materials remain the property of Rivar and its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of the platform itself.
We work to maintain reliable platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, upgrades, security events, or third-party service disruptions may affect availability from time to time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rivar shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform. Total liability shall not exceed amounts paid for the service during the twelve months preceding the claim.
Either party may terminate access in accordance with applicable subscription terms. Upon termination, customers may request export of their data, subject to applicable retention and legal requirements.
Rivar may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
