How we collect, use, secure, and protect information entrusted to Rivar.
Rivar is designed for organizations that manage sensitive professional information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users and customers.
We may collect account information, contact details, workspace information, usage data, technical diagnostics, communication records, and content submitted through the platform. This may include reasoning records, documents, meeting information, metadata, and related organizational content.
Information is used to provide and improve the service, authenticate users, maintain security, support customers, process requests, monitor platform performance, comply with legal obligations, and operate the platform effectively.
Reasoning records, institutional memory, documents, and other customer content remain under the control of the customer organization. Rivar processes such information solely for the purpose of providing the service.
Rivar does not use customer reasoning records, organizational content, or confidential firm information to train shared AI models without explicit authorization.
We do not sell customer data. Information may be shared with trusted infrastructure providers, service providers, or legal authorities only when necessary to operate the platform, comply with law, or protect rights and security.
Rivar employs administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer information. This includes access controls, encryption, monitoring, and security review processes appropriate to the nature of the service.
Information is retained for as long as necessary to provide services, meet contractual obligations, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on customer requirements.
Rivar sets a small number of cookies. Essential cookies are required for the site to function and to record your own consent choices — the consent record itself is a functional cookie. Analytics is provided by Google Analytics 4 through Google Consent Mode v2 (advanced): in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage is blocked by default — Google may collect only aggregate, cookieless signals — until you choose "Accept All" on the consent notice, at which point the _ga and _gid cookies are set. Elsewhere analytics runs by default, and you can still turn it off with "Essential Only". Consent Mode is configured so that Google's advertising and personalization storage are never enabled. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer, or through your browser's cookie controls.
Depending on jurisdiction, users may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing of personal information. Requests may be submitted through our contact channels.
Where information is transferred across jurisdictions, Rivar implements appropriate safeguards designed to ensure lawful and secure processing of personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Updated versions will be published on this page.
